Ocean Zig Zag

This is the first quilt that I have done all the way thru from start to finish by myself. I usually send them off to be quilted so I'm really proud that I was able to do this. It's just stich in the ditch but it's good to know I can do that now. I love this pattern, it was so easy and fun to play with.

This is for my first great nephew. His name it Triton so I went with an aquatic theme for him. I'm still waiting for pictures of him on it.

Such a bright cheery quilt. It's really an accomplishment to quilt on your own quilt isn't it. Makes it extra special for your nephew.

Thank you all for your comments! And what a lucky day for me to win one of the prizes!! I still can't believe it.

Here is a link to the tutorial I followed to make this one. It was super easy even for a beginner like me!

You really matched all the blues up nicely. I love how pleasing it is to the eye with the zig zags and various blues. Great job!
