Woo Hoo! I won a drawing at the Oklahoma quilt show and it just came in the mail yesterday! I got 5 half yards of fabric, a bag, a giant pin cushoin and some other trinkets, plus a $40.00 gift certificate from Sew Flakes in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I can't believe my good fortune. I got to meet a couple of the girls from the Quilting Board too. So it was a great day all around! Can't wait for the next one! This fabric is Rouenneries by French General for Moda and oh so pretty! I love the bag, I was thinking of making one but this saved me the trouble. I'm thinking of making a table runner if I can find just the right pattern.

Ocean Zig Zag
This is the first quilt that I have done all the way thru from start to finish by myself. I usually send them off to be quilted so I'm really proud that I was able to do this. It's just stich in the ditch but it's good to know I can do that now. I love this pattern, it was so easy and fun to play with.
This is for my first great nephew. His name it Triton so I went with an aquatic theme for him. I'm still waiting for pictures of him on it.

One block wonders
I'm obsessed. No other words for it. I have made 3 of these already and this one is for me. I have 2 more fabrics ready to cut and just ordered a new one today. I am hopelessly addicted here. So this is my fabric and the start of what the blocks will come out like. I only have about 50 more to sew before it starts coming together.

Another quilt blog
After having lost 2 blogs to the mysteries of cyberspace, I am starting this one in a completely different area. I am hoping to create a place where my family and friends can always come to check up on my progress. So here goes nothing!
Above is my youngest grand daughter with my latest finished quilt project, 3D Pinwheels. It was quite a challenge for me because I had never worked with folded fabric and am limited on my experience of matching up the squares. I was really disappointed in it till I sent it to my quilter and she made it beautiful!
