I won a drawing at the Oklahoma quilt show and it just came in the mail yesterday! I got 5 half yards of fabric, a bag, a giant pin cushoin and some other trinkets, plus a $40.00 gift certificate from Sew Flakes in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I can't believe my good fortune. I got to meet a couple of the girls from the Quilting Board too. So it was a great day all around! Can't wait for the next one! This fabric is Rouenneries by French General for Moda and oh so pretty! I love the bag, I was thinking of making one but this saved me the trouble. I usually send them off to be quilted so I'm really proud that I was able to do this. It's just stich in the ditch but it's good to know I can do that now. I love this pattern, it was so easy and fun to play with. </div><br /><div></div><br /><div>This is for my first great nephew. His name it Triton so I went with an aquatic theme for him. It was quite a challenge for me because I had never worked with folded fabric and am limited on my experience of matching up the squares.
